This oversize book focuses on only fifteen of the greatest comic artists of all time, ranging from the early twentieth century Sunday pages of Winsor McKay to the contemporary novels of Chris Ware. Also includes works from Lyonel Feininger, George Herriman, E. C. Sugar, Frank King, Chester Gould, Milton Caniff, Charles Schulz, Will Eisner, Jack Kirby, Harvey Kurtzman, R.
